John and I work together trying to help them. Since John can't read, I read the phonetics outloud (what I learned in school) and then he translates it and says it correctly since I have no idea what I'm saying. It probably is quite comical to watch. Especially when he can't tell what I'm trying to say. Remember it's a tone language...

School Daze
So the girls started school this week. Can you just feel the excitement rolling off them in waves? Despite the pictures, they really were excited.
Jordan is in class #10 and Casey is in class #11 and there are about 20-25 students in each of their classes. They are both on the third floor of their building and there are 14 (yes 14, not a typo) second grade classes in their school.
Here's a picture of the middle of their campus. The basic layout is a big square of buildings with the playground in the middle. They even have a running track.

They go to school from 7:45 to 12:00 Mon - Wed and Friday. And then from 7:45 to 4:00 on Thursdays. Thursday is a long day, but they get to take a nap. Not to mention, that they have a lot of homework every night.
